Week seven!
Woohoo blog week 7! This was a pretty good and chill week. School was great, nothing to crazy happened during my classes. I am still loving my classes and teachers and I have so much fun in all of them. On Monday I think I just went to school and then maybe an afternoon walk (I can't really remember) Tuesday morning I went to a coffee shop before school to do some homework which was really nice and relaxing, I've been getting cappuccinos recently. On Wednesday I went to class and then met up with my friends to book our semana santa trip, and then we went to play volleyball and after volleyball we watched our friends play soccer. On Thursday I went to my last day of school for the week, then on a little walk and then later that night me and my friends went out for tapas! I love tapas so much. On Friday we had a tour of Sacromonte with the program and that was so cool. Sacromonte is a neighborhood of Granada a little bit past the Albaicín where people live in man made caves. It is so cool, they dig into the mountain to form little rooms and then build a patio or front of the house outside of the cave. I think there are around 200 cave homes in that area of Granada and some of them have been here since the 16th century. We hiked up to the tallest lookout in the city which is at the top of the neighborhood and it was so beautiful. We also saw a cave museum which talked about how the caves were made, why they were made, how the people lived, what type of jobs they did and so much more. It was really cool to learn about. Friday afternoon we played some cards at Cobbs house and then I went to a few stores with my friend. On Saturday me and 3 other girls took the train to Malaga which is a costal city south of Granada. When we got there it was pouring rain but it turned out to be a lovely day in the end. We walked past the cathedral and the ancient Roman theatre and the alcazar and the Picasso museum. Malaga is a super cool city and I would definitely probably go back there. We stopped for some delicious donuts and then margaritas for national margarita day before heading to the beach for the rest of the day. It was a great day to lay at the beach, not too cold but not too warm either. After our time at the beach we took the train back to Granada and then met some friends for tapas to talk about a trip we might go on all together. After that me and Anda and Molly got shawarma and falafel which was amazing. Overall it was a super good week, not too busy but I had fun and still saw lots of cool things. My low of the week is that I lost my wallet so say a prayer I find that soon. Miss you guys!!
