week 20!

Woooohoooo week 20!! Except not woohoo, cause I'm so sad that it's over. Last week was the last week of class, so this week was all finals. I had one on Monday, one on Tuesday, and two on Wednesday. I think they went pretty well, we will see when my grades come back. Monday, before school, I went to a coffee shop to get some studying done for my exam later that day. When I got home, Begoña and I sat down for some lunch, and then I headed off to the park to do some more studying. Some of my other friends came and met me at the park, and we hung out there for a while. Later that night, we went back out to the park to see Abby and catch up because she had been gone for the weekend.  On Tuesday, I woke up to go do some studying first at a coffee shop, and then at the churros place where Cobb, Aidan, and Alex were playing chess. After my exam, I headed home and got started on packing a little bit. Later, Anna and I got tea and then did some souvenir shopping. That evening, we met up with Abby and her family for some tapas, which was so fun. Then Cobb and I went with two other people from our program for some more tapas before heading to a pool bar where some of our friends played some games of pool. On Wednesday, I had one of my exams, and then Tyler, Rudy, and I got some coffee and tostadas near the river. After coffee, I went back to the CLM to take my grammar exam, and then I was officially done with all my tests! For lunch that day, Begoña and I went out and got some tapas to celebrate her birthday, which was the day before. When I got home, I worked on my scrapbook and then some more packing before heading to volleyball. We played one last Wednesday game of volleyball and then watched soccer. After dinner, I got ready and then met my friends at our favorite chill "Star Wars" bar, and then we went to ladies night. We all wore our matching I heart Granada shirts and had all of our friends sign them. Thursday was my last day in the city. I woke up kind of early and then went to sit in the plaza near my apartment for a while, where I wrote some letters and enjoyed the weather. After that, Anna and I met up for coffee in the Albaicín, and then on the way home, stopped by some stores. Before going home, I stopped by the AIFS office to say goodbye and thank you to Alberto and Noelia, they are the best. I am gonna miss them. I went home for lunch, and it was super yummy. After lunch, I packed up all the rest of my things before heading out again. I went to Los Italianos for one last ice cream and then up to Bañuelo to meet my friends for a final tea. I got Moroccan mint and it was delicious. After tea, Anna and I wanted to go to the fish tapas place one more time, but they gave us fried sardines, so we didn't stay there for long. Instead, we walked back up to San Nicolas lookout for one more Alhambra sunset view. After the sunset,t I headed back home where Begoña and I had one final dinner together, and I cried actually so much. I was so sad to leave her, she's the best ever. I had to say bye to her before I left to see my friends, and it was the saddest thing ever. After we said bye, I walked to the park to see my friends. We sat there and talked and played card games and laughed and signed each other's shirts until 1am when the park closes. At 1, I said bye to pretty much everyone and then went home to grab my things. I got all my suitcases and bags and then took a taxi to the bus meeting point. There, I said bye to more friends, and then Cobb, Brenna, and I got on the bus, and at 2 am we headed to the airport. Once there, we had to wait 5 hours until our 9:30 flight to Newark. The flight wasn't too bad, the middle seat next to me was empty, so that was epic. When we landed, Cobb and I had to say bye to Brenna, and it was so sad. At 3:30, we got on our flight to Dallas, and then when we landed, my parents were there to pick me up! We got some Chick-fil-a and then drove back to OKC. It feels so weird to be home, and I am so sad but also happy to be here. On my first day back home, I got my hair done, saw my friends, got some things for kamp, and had some steak for dinner. It was a good but full day. Today is Sunday and I'm off to kamp. It feels so crazy but I'm excited. I can't believe that a week ago I was studying for finals and hanging out with my friends, and speaking Spanish. Overall, this week was super sad and I miss my friends so much and I miss Granada so much, but also it's good to be back home! That's it for the blog, thanks for following along!
